Terms of service

The agreement between you and RegInspector.

One block to complete before you charge: replace the [bracketed] details with your registered entity and jurisdiction, and have a lawyer read this once. Everything else describes the service as it actually behaves.

1. Who we are

RegInspector is operated by [Legal entity name], [registered address], company number [number]. Contact: hello@reginspector.com.

2. What the service does

You give us a URL. We fetch the asset, gather publicly observable evidence, run it through versioned rule packs and return a Compliance Score with findings. The free tier returns the score, a verdict per regulation and a preview of your highest-priority findings. Paid tiers return the complete analysis.

3. What the service is not

RegInspector does not provide legal advice and does not certify compliance. The output is an automated indicator derived from what an asset shows publicly at one moment in time. It cannot see authenticated areas, server-side processing, contracts or internal governance, and it evaluates only the packs marked live or beta in your report. Deciding what to do about a finding is yours, and you should take professional advice before relying on it.

4. Acceptable use

5. Prices, tiers and payment

Three options, all one-off — there is no subscription:

Prices include applicable taxes as shown at checkout, and each purchase covers the single report it was bought for. Payment is handled by Stripe; we never receive your card details. Access is granted immediately on successful payment.

6. The share discount

The templates tier is offered at €5.99 if you share RegInspector on X or LinkedIn from your results page. We cannot technically verify that a post was published, and we do not try to: using the share button is what applies the discount. The product you receive is identical to the €9.99 tier. Please do not misrepresent us in a post you make to obtain it — we may withdraw the offer from anyone who does.

7. Right of withdrawal

A report is digital content supplied immediately. By buying, you ask us to begin supply at once and acknowledge that you thereby lose the 14-day right of withdrawal for that content, under Art. 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU. If a report fails to generate, is incomplete, or does not match what was described here, write to support@reginspector.com and we will fix it or refund it.

8. Availability and report links

We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Scanning depends on the target responding; an asset that blocks automated requests may not be analysable, and in that case we tell you rather than issuing a score. Your report is reachable through an unguessable link — keep it safe, since anyone holding it can open the report.

9. Liability

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for death, personal injury or fraud. Subject to that, our total liability arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for regulatory penalties, lost profits or indirect loss arising from reliance on a report.

10. Your data

Handled as set out in our privacy notice and cookie policy.

11. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the version and date at the top change when we do, and the terms in force when you purchased continue to govern that purchase. These terms are governed by the law of [Spain] and the courts of [Madrid] have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
